Yes as the name suggests, these are the cars from the previous black and white era or few of them would be seen in 1980s and 90s as well, as every obsolete thing gets the value high with time, same is the case with cars as well, let me share few of the most expensive classic cars of the world
Peter D. Williamson Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic
Only four of such cars are still seen, and two are purchased one by Ralph Lauren and second by Williamson Bugatti, who sold it to unknown buyer for $30 to 40 millions, making it the most expensive of the classical ones. It is made up of total aluminum and has Aérolithe’s Electron and Duralumin construction phases production.
1934 “Star of India” Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental
Sold in an auction for $13 millions, this car is totally a continental one which was made for Maharaja of India; it is continentally made and set 14 headlights in it, a pair of which switches on with just a turn of steering. An obsolete one set up in aluminum.
1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
It is on 3rd position in the list of most expensive car. The cost of this car is $12.4 millions and has won 10 contests out which 9 were played since 1958, this is an antique sports car of pontoon structure and it drives as would be flied in air. Simply marvelous!
1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder
It is on 4th position in this list. I am a huge Ferrari fan and this is what which is wow and is drove by wonderful Seven Star James, Steve Mac Queen and James Garner, since ages this one was sold in an public sale for $10.8 millions.
007 Aston Martin DB5
Starting from $5 to 10 millions, this is what James Bond, Sean Connery used in his 007 movies Gold finger and Thunder ball, this car has got something unique in it, that compelled Jerry Lee to purchase it as well, it has non- functional machine guns and ejector seat and fabulous feature of changing of number plates as well. Made up of aluminum this is really great, good for bluff movies.
1937 Bugatti Type 57S
Costing $4.4 millions, it has only 17 cars of its type, it changed so many hands and finally was fetched by deceased Dr. Harold Carr’s heirs and this car has nothing unique in it, except luggage box, review mirrors and good body, and off course its belonging even before 1938 year, which has made this car a super hit.
